Imperial Art
Imperial Art was founded in 2016 by Tarik Bougherira sharing a passion for French history and the French Empire.
The gallery, mainly focusing on the French Empire, proposes fine arts and antiques of this period.
Thanks to Tarik 10 years long experience of the international art market, being a former collection manager in the greatest privately owned Empire related collection for which he organized several exhibitions all over the world (USA, Europe, Canada, China...), Imperial Art helps and advises both individuals and institutions to acquire art pieces or manage existing collections.
Settled in 4 rue Drouot, in the very heart of Paris art market district, Imperial Art pursues it development and proudly contributes to spreading the French spirit and imperial greatness, in France and abroad.
Doing its best to offer a new approach, Imperial Art shares its passion for the French Empire through in diverse way, offering for example video content to tell the story behind its art pieces.
Imperial Art took part to the Young dealers at Sotheby’s in December 2018 and Biennale de Paris 2019.
Dynamic and focused on its future, Imperial Art will open its first abroad gallery in Beijing, China, to promote the French Empire and its history on a new continent.
